About Patricia Gibson
About The Author
Patricia Gibson was born and grew up in the northeast of England. She now lives in the southeast with her dog, Ted the terrier. An animal lover and vegan with a lifetime passion for storytelling. Whether it is made up on the spot stories for children on long car journeys, or just writing for pleasure on a whim.
Patricia mostly writes children’s adventure stories of the spooky kind. (Spoiler…the good guys always win at the end.)
She has written many short stories for children as well as three finished novels which she hopes to see in print later this year.
Patricia has an eclectic taste in literature. From Balzac and Flaubert to Dean Koontz, and Stephen King, with a special place for Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings and Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice.
Her debut novel, The Yorkshire Vampire, is her first attempt at self-publishing. It is written for older children who like to be involved in the adventure.
